So, during the kickstarter campaign, I put out there that I was looking for a computer game to play, and RRG suggested FTL! Well, things started getting busy and I never got around to trying it, but now that I am on summer hours (woo working in a school administration position and having short summer work days) I have a lot of free time, or at least I did. Three days ago I downloaded FTL! and it has been a non stop addiction since. When I cannot beat a game, it gets to me like nothing else. I got ESCAPE: The Curse of the Temple a week ago and it sat on my table until I was able to beat it on the basic setting every time. Every time my girl friend asked to do something, I was like, "BUT I AM LOCKED IN THIS TEMPLE! Help me get out and then we can go do whatever you want

"
Now, I have FTL!, which seems to simply laugh at the possibility that anyone could actually "beat" this game. Every time I am doing well, they are like, "hmmm how about if you jump next to a sun and we let 4 guys teleport onto your ship and shoot missiles at you damaging your air and weapons system on the first shot...lets so you beat that!" So, I stay up way to late trying to beat this game, and go to bed thinking, "This game is ridiculous, it is totally random!" Then I wake up again, and give it another try.
