I ran into Aaron at Gencon this year and chatted with him about painting. He was at the Flying Frog booth as he paints the Shadows of Brimstone miniatures for them. Anyway, long story short he mentioned he thought the Arena Rex miniatures look amazing and he had some time in his schedule about six weeks out so I decided to splurge and did a commission with him to paint some of my Morituri. I got the mini's back this week and am still marveling at them. Playing with these will be a joy.
To reiterate though, this is Aaron Lovejoy's paint job not my own. I'm a capable painter but definitely not remotely as Aaron's level.
