That repose looks fantastic and quite dangerous, excellent work! |

Thank you! Today I am working on Urien and Telesto. I keep splashing colours and white on the sea horse, and worrying about when it will be time to shade him with a shadow wash, in case it ruins all the brightness and messes everything up. Gulp. |

Alright, I think this is probably the best I can do. Taste the rainbow. |

Wendigo and Zephyri. Friends? Not sure. |

And Urien, painted. This is one model where I would understand if people can't tell what the original model is. Both a headswap and a repose doesn't leave a lot of recognisability intact. |

Free Sunday, lots and lots of painting today. Dimitrios... hmm. Something's not right. I feel like the red clashes. Gonna change it for green. Also, super flimsy spear shaft. I probably should have replaced it with brass rod, but I guess I will see how long it stays. |

I like Dimitrios a TON more without the helmet. The unicorn + fish fin just doesn't do it for me... I wonder how a Ludus Magnus style masked helmet would look on him? Speaking of helmets, where is Urien's from? I can't place it. And I said it before, but the repose you did has made him look 100% better. Nicely done. Finally, I dig your version of Telesto too. The stock paint scheme looks good, and I like what you did with washes/glazes around his hands/feet/muzzle. (Also nice to see you posting your work regularly again!) |

Thank you so much. Since I was so productive yesterday, I am running out of models to paint - all I have left now is mounted Dimitri. Gomez wrote: I like Dimitrios a TON more without the helmet. Interesting question, because I actually gave him one such helmet way back when I got him, albeit keeping the unicorn fish fin. I decided to abandon it, but I think a large part of that is that the helmet with the wide shadow looks a bit weird. If I had used a normal gladiator helmet, I'm sure it would have looked a lot better. Which I still may do, actually. The wide shadow and Urien's helmet come from the same sprue, and it's from maxmini.eu. https://maxmini.eu/conversion-bits/head ... lmets-bits |

Hmm. Hmmmm. Right now, my feeling is to give foot Dimi the same type of mask I gave Argos, and then take the bare head and put that on mounted Dimi. I can't bring myself to get rid of the unicorn fin though... I feel like it is his trademark. |

Honestly from that angle, I think it works all right on the closed helmet - much better than on the open one. |
