Some girls in blue ready to step up.

My attempts at freehanding on those surfaces that seemed to want some.

And in beastly company.

I LOVE THAT AEMILIA with the cloth in her face.
Awesome conversion, making it an exceptional miniature :).

Regarding your rhinoceros: The rear legs look a bit unreal, in my opinion. Couldn't find any picture with an animal that has those angles.

Thank you so much!

About the rhino legs, my guy is definitely more of a monster than a real animal, with proportions and such. But I guess I can show the idea I was going for with this illustration...

I continue to love your desaturated pallette. The blue grey is a great take on their colors. I, too, love the covered face. Your small touches on a lot of your models really go a long way to giving them a feeling that they're yours.

You are a fantastic painter! Any tips for doing shading on models? One of the main reasons I'm leaving my models gray (aside from budgeting) is because I know I'd just end up with solid colors, no detail.

I appreciate that a lot.

I also have a conundrum. I started painting my plastic columns, but after I painted two of them grey and highlighted up to white again, I thought they looked too dark. And it made me wonder if I should just leave them white and not paint them at all? (although the already painted ones I'd just have to paint all white again.) I kinda like the pristine white look.

What do you think?

(The grey one looks darker in real life than it does in this photo, I think...)

I prefer the darker one, just because from what I can tell, you have a very dark color choice, which I really like and I think very bright columns won't do the models justice and would be an eye-catcher in the arena.
