Hi guys,

I've never worked with resin so fine before, and am having a lot of difficulty with removing pieces undamaged from sprues (I'll need to do repair work on Thoth's feet. Alas the resin port was hardier than his ankles) and the sidecutters I'd been able to use for pewter or larger resin pieces are too clumsy and large. Does anyone have any suggestions on brands and specific tools to use? specifically I'll need some very fine clippers, and if there are any other suggestions for tools I will happily take them. I've found certain things are far too small for me to pin, as much as I'd love to (Noxiou's Sword Hand for example) but if there are solutions that people have then I am happy to take any and all advice!

I don't own one, but I wish I had a jewelers saw when I lopped off Iason's toes. They glued back on pretty easily. I haven't been pinning, glue seems to hold the resin together fine enough. Tweezers are handy for attatching the super small parts though.

I ended up purchasing some really inexpensive Flat Cutters, which did the trick. I found that even they had enough displacement of the medium that I'd have to cut halfway through sometimes, so that one port didn't levera up when cutting and create a stress point on an ankle or other smaller portion.

oddly enough it was the thickest ankles of the lot (Otho) that failed me after getting the flat cutters. luckily he's beefy enough that there was more than enough surface area to take the glue for the repair.

I am waiting on delivery of a jeweller's drill kit, I am going to need significantly smaller drill bits and pins for the ladies of morituri, and for noxious' foot to base join. everything else is together though!
