Can someone explain why and when I should use Rouse? I've played about six games so far and I haven't come across a clear turn where Rouse would be useful.

I have one opponent who plays Morituri.

Is Rouse the tactic where you can gain a fatigue to gain a favor?

If so, then I guess it would be good to use if you have a clear turn where none of your models are exhausted. Then everyone would first go to ready, then you give one of your guys a fatigue to Rouse, and then you remove that fatigue when you begin your next active turn.

It may be handy if you are short on favor and need it. I like clearing Urbicus and then fatiguing him for favor. If he is attacked prior to getting to my turn I can still use him.

Also another reason to Rouse is if you really want to Incite a Living Hazard in a clear turn and you do not have favor to do so.

Rouse is nice but kinda corner case in its usefulness and it is easy to forget. But I must say I have seen some players use it every clear turn.

I can see it being used more often in games with 4+ models as being fatigued isn't such a drain on your cohort. Although, it would take longer to get to a clear turn as well with more models.

You would be surprised how quickly you can get to a clear turn with 6 figures. As long as you don't remove fatigue each activation you can get there in 3 of your activations and be on clear turn for your fourth activation.

Again Rouse I feel isn't something you force yourself to get to but it is handy when you do get to the clear turn and need it or have the figures to allow you to use it without causing an issue.
