Captain America suggested it might be interesting to work on a kind of "revised" rulebook that tries to incorporate some of the FAQ and general improving of stuff that could be made clearer. So I started on this! Here is a link to a shareable Google Doc, I hope it works... https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z6s ... sp=sharing |

I only included up to the Ludus Benefits so far - since the scenarios and such aren't core rules, I didn't do anything to them. The main thing I have focused on is making it clearer what steps are involved in different situations. Like breaking up actions into declaration, cost, target, resolve. And spelling out how to resolve a Wild attack. Things like that. One thing I am mainly unsure about is the attack sequence. For my own sake, I had to break it up into nine separate steps. But I'm not sure it looks great in the rulebook. Opinions welcome. Sorry about the weird formatting - I copied and pasted the rules PDF into Wordpad, and that is what happened... |

I'm learning and come from games like Warmachine that have very detailed steps in the different phases, and this should be helpful to me in figuring when things happen. Played a game with Nero and Septimus and the Wild step was weird for us- Lots of questions- so this would have been helpful if I'd seen it. Thanks! |

I'm glad, thanks for commenting. I'll go check out your painting thread now! And please ask all day long if you have any more rules confusion. |

Thank you, that is really cool of you to say. Even though it seems to go months between posts on here at the moment, it's good to be reminded that even if nobody posts, people still (potentially) read. |

This post made me look at the revised rulebook again, so I made some updates, adding both the newest errata (you can apparently attack your own models after the March errata - I did not remember that) and adding some helpful caveats here and there, like how you can attack through hazards and other models if you have the range. |
