We have some rules questions in my group and although we have a good grasp of the game some of these are ambiguous enough that we feel they could be argued either way.

1. Is Proximo's "Spectacle" ability triggered by a successful counterattack?

2. Proximo's "Cacophony" lists no range. Does this effect only those engaged or is it arena wide?

3. Does Ywain's "Rebuff" still trigger when arm negates damage dealt

1. Yes. (Proximo hates normal rules!)
2. Arena-wide (friendly and enemy!)
3. Yes, it was designed to work with redoubt.

Follow-up on Redoubt: the wording on the card is "gains 3 ARM"... does that mean he "gains" 3 ARM and replaces the original 2, or "gains" 3 and adds it to the original 2 making 5 ARM?

gains 3 in addition to his base of 2, for 5 total.

Huh. I never noticed that Cacophony doesn't specify a range. I just assumed it was meant to be engagment range.

That is kinda cool - so she can push an enemy gladiator into a pit from all the way on the other side of the arena? That is pretty dangerous. :S
