I still think, as I wrote in the other thread, that personal emails can't really count as "official". We kinda need a public statement for that.
You ask how the Noxius ruling differs from RAW... the rule doesn't state that he counts as a member of any ludus. It states that he counts as a member of any ludus for the determination of ludus benefits. This is entirely different from counting as a member of that ludus during the game.
Which is why RRG posted, publically, the opposite ruling in the thread linked by Ridiqles above. The operative quote by RRG Walker being: "Unfortunately for Noxius, Expendable only counts him as a Zephyri model when determining whether Ludus Benefits apply (i.e. list building), and he is not a valid target for that reason."
So the unnamed rules expert referenced by Chelsie contradicts RRG Walker in the email cited. If both sources happen to be RRG Walker, then he contradicts himself.
But only one of the rulings follows the rule printed on the card, and that is the ruling here on the forum.
