If a Reposition is the last success that I have, can I still end my activation and remove a fatigue even though I would have had to end my activation after that anyway ?
i.e. Is this the perfect last result to get ?
I am thinks no it is but just want to confirm.

You would still get to remove your fatigue. Ending on a reposition is usually a great move.

From the rulebook, under DAMAGE TREE RESULTS (PDF pg 8): " Reposition + 1 damage - The attacking model may move 3 inches. If a model is not engaged at the end of its reposition movement, it may immediately end its activation to remove a fatigue."

The condition simply checks whether you are engaged at the end of your reposition movement, it doesn't consider what happens after.

That's definitely how I see it. If I want to use Reposition, I just roll my dice, and hope to score enough successes to get to the Reposition result. Once I have enough for that, it doesn't matter if I get any more successes - any extra ones are lost. So it feels really nice to get exactly the right amount.

Using Reposition basically means that you choose to end your damage tree at the Reposition result. So it's like rolling for successes for a gladiator with a 5-deep damage tree. If you roll 5 successes, you get max damage. If you roll 6 or 7 successes, the additional successes don't mean anything, you still only get max damage. It's the same with Reposition.
