I had posed a question through the Kickstarter messaging system while the project was still running regarding the possibility of using a hex based system. Nick C. was kind enough to respond. Here is a small snippet from his response to my query. "I actually plan on putting a small conversion guide for playing Arena Rex on a hex grid in the final Rules PDF so don't worry."

Is the plan to still include the mentioned conversion guide? Even having a separate document available would be great. I don't do tape measures.

A hex conversion chart will most likely be a separate document.
That way it can be a living document.

That sounds good to me! The existing rule set translates very easily as-is, but having some "official" references can help legitimize it.
