So what is the best way to reposition the legs on Leo I want both of his back legs on the stand so I can pin them both (I have never pinned a model before)

I think the only way to find out is to try it out. Reposing models is such a physical activity that you cannot really approach it theoretically. Like how you cannot learn how to swim or do karate by reading about it on the internet.

But my best guess is that you just want to chop off the paw and then attach it again so the sole is against the ground? Should be doable as far as I can tell, though you would need to do some work to fix it up. I did mine with a pin all the way through the left leg.

You wouldn't happen to have more pictures?

Not work in progress ones I think, just of the finished model. But the point of the work I did was to try and keep him from sagging forwards, by reinforcing the leg with a metal support, so to speak, which I hooked into the back of the base in order to try and pull him backwards. Wasn't easy to do though.

It doesn't look easy and it is downright scary for me!

If your goal is to avoid the sag, then I think the easiest route is to put something underneath his belly to prop him up. If your goal is to change his pose generally - then I think that might be really hard, because the model is sculpted in such a specific way that I think any reposing of front or hind legs will look unnatural. My advice would be to attempt to stick to the pose he comes with.

There is a thread about the "Leo sag" here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=33968
