It looks like a few days ago, someone on reddit asked if the game is still alive, and Chelsie posted the following reply.

"Hey! One of the owners of Red Republic Games here. The game is very much alive and we have quite a few new releases, a new faction and new tournament rules coming this year. This spring we will be releasing a new beast and new figure. This summer we will be releasing a complete Greek faction. We have quite a few other minis still in development as well as plans for new factions."

This seems to be discussion-worthy. Nick has previously promised us Atrox and a new model plus subfaction, slightly overdue, so we already knew that part. But what I haven't seen mentioned before is new tournament rules.

I personally read this as meaning some kind of generic event rules package, as opposed to the one-off special tournament scenarios they have used in their own events in the past. But maybe I am reading it wrong.

I take it as something generic as well.

As for something new....about time. It's been quite a dry spell this past year.

My players are super excited for organized play!

It really feels like a strong indicator of a successful game system these days~
