Just thinking... it might be interesting if the webstore, or the AR wiki, listed when a model was released, with a month and a year for example. When I started collecting about a year and a half ago, Khepros was a new release, for example. And, as I recall, the first model that was released after I started was Valen, at Gencon 2016. But from before I started, I have no idea when the different models were released and in what order. Not that it matters in any way - I am just curious. I just checked the wiki, and Valen and Leika both mention that they were released at Gencon 2016 and 2017 respectively. But as far as I can tell, it's only if there was something special about a model's release that the wiki mentions something about it. Is there a collector out there who is obsessive enough to know when each of the models we have were released? I imagine that a bunch of them, maybe the ones with black and white art, were from the original kickstarter and were part of the first "wave" of releases. But I don't know when that was... 2013? Edit: Since I ended up actually making a list further down, I thought it would make sense to add that list to this first post, and keep this updated as like a "master list". All models not listed below were released as part of the initial kickstarter waves that first formed the original game. These were shipped between 2013-2015. Post-kickstarter releases: Spring 2015 - Sulla, Stheno, Acerbus Summer 2015 - Medusa Autumn 2015 - Hagal Spring 2016 - Khepros, Anum Summer 2016 - Valen, Ywain, Hroka, Caho-Ta Autumn 2016 - Dextarius Spring 2017 - Leika Summer 2017 - Tribune Autumn 2017 - Iocasta Spring 2018 - Cato, Atrox, Ladon Summer 2018 - Dimitrios, Theophania, Argos, Antaeus, Archidamos, Telesto Spring 2019 - Gjallr Summer 2019 - Phaedra, Krios, Daphne, Crassus |

Unfortunately I purchased once in March 2017 then stopped, not having paid any attention. Then picked up again massively around October 2017. Since I've joined, no new models. What gives? Dont they want my money hahaha. I thought there was supposed to be like 6 a year or something? Idk but 0 have come out since I started buying 4 months ago. sad.... |

Iocasta was out in October or November 17, right? Not that long ago anyway. So you must have started up again right around the time she came out, and yeah, nothing new since then. It seems to me that the current pace is about 3 new models per year - one in spring, one in summer, one in autumn. Approximately. We have been promised two new models relatively soon though.

She had to have come out before October of 17 because I started shopping as soon as I knew they'd start running tournaments in my area and that was in October. She was already all over the banner of the site. Unless some crazy way Im mistaken but I dont think so. |

Not actually knowing which models came out when is still something that bothers me. It seems like we can group releases roughly around Adepticon (spring) and Gencon (summer) and then around November again (autumn). I'd like to make a chronological list... if anyone else wants to contribute, feel free, and I can keep updating this post. A combination of my memory and looking through https://www.facebook.com/arenarexgame/ has yielded this so far. The beginning - Kickstarter. I assume that everything not mentioned below was part of the kickstarter, and seems to have been released to backers between 2013-2015. The post-kickstarter models seem to be... Cheers. One honorable mention goes to Hroka and Caho-Ta, who were apparently supposed to be in the kickstarter and was playtested back then, but they just had big problems getting the model made it seems, so she wasn't actually released until Gencon 2016. |

Interesting to look at the release flow. The thinnest year was clearly 2017 with only 3 new models all year, but then a massive resurgence in 2018 with 9 because of the Helleniki release. I guess the average is 5 or 6 per year, with a strong tendency to get multiple new models at Gencon. |
