Post subject:  Cohort without Ludus Benefits

This is specific to larger teams, such as six models. Is it a viable tactic to forego Ludus benefits during a clear turn in exchange for creating a mixed cohort of fighters that work well together? I was thinking of building a team of individuals who are good fighters, and can build on the talents of other members. Example character who have assist advantages with characters who punish models for failing to get net successes. It would also mean no weak links to fill out a six-player roster.
