Arena Rex Forums

Heya everyone!

There's an annual convention in the DFW area called Texicon that I've attended for the past three years and, I was just wondering if anyone was planning on playing some Arena Rex this year!

Some friends of mine and I are planning on running demos of Arena Rex and possibly having a 'for funzies' tournament as well. We've got quite a few models between the three of us and should have 3 nice arenas setup before the convention as well but, we are hoping Red Republic will help support us (or show up so we can support them!) with terrain and prize support.

So, anyone coming to Texicon this year?

So, setting up an 'official' Arena Rex event at Texicon has been a bust. After three emails and two phone calls over the past month, I have not been able to get a hold of any of the event coordinators to get a table set up. That being said, I will still be attending with my buddy Chris and we'll have a table set up with enough minis to demo anyway! It just would have been nice to have it marketed alongside all the other events at the con.

We've got a pretty sweet arena setup so, if you're around and see us playing, don't hesitate to say yo!
