I was just pondering something.
Potential house rule for pits. You still fall into them as soon as you touch them. If you fall in, instead of being defeated automatically, you are removed from the board, take 5 auto-damage and gain one fatigue. You are considered to be down in the pit now. But you stay in the game, and can have fatigue removed as normal. If you are activated while in the pit, you can gain two fatigue to climb out of the pit, and place yourself anywhere within one inch of any pit edge (of the same pit you fell into obviously).
Makes sense? Would it be any fun? I'm thinking it could be interesting that pit victims will automatically be gone for a while, but can come back later in the game.
