So the previewed picture was for a Zephyri gladiator, and Adepticon gives us the following info from reddit: "after talking to the RRG guys it sounds like the Hellenic Ludus is at least a year away."

We must arm ourselves with stoic patience.

So the Zephyri gladiator was Leika, and then we got Tribune, and now we got Iocasta... all great gladiators that aren't Greek.

I know, I know. At least a year away and all that. It's cool. I just had to remind myself that they are still coming (I hope). I'm just curious. It is kinda cool to have a preview idea of something that is still a while into the future. I hope this game stays around and keeps making new releases for a long time.

The game should have no problem staying around. Their booth at Gen Con was jam-packed with people and I think that a lot more are getting into the game. I was told that the Greeks will release next year at Gen Con, at long last.

A minotaur or even a centaur would be fascinating and in keeping with Greek myth. There are enough exotic monsters (Wendigo, Proximo, Gorgons etc) in this system that the addition of 2 more would not be pushing it. I am not saying go full on high fantasy, just the addition of 2 more classic Greek figures would be a welcome addition!

I think my personal favourite for a Greek mythological creature for the game would be a cyclops. I could see that being really awesome. But I'm down with a centaur or minotaur too.

Time flies, and Gencon 2018 is actually getting close!

We have now seen two Helleniki models, and one of them is even painted in the attached photo.

One thing I think is funny is that the Helleniki symbol features octopus tentacles, and the model in the photo has an octopus on his chestplate and a narwhal horn on his helmet. I am getting a nautical vibe... basically an identical vibe and style to the ocean elves GW released a few months ago. Very similar, funny coincidence.
