Yeah, but they've also mentioned Atrox, I take it, since we know its name. Is there any other info to suggest whether the new horse will come out before or after the tiger? I suppose time of mentioning is a good indicator. I don't know when Atrox was last mentioned, but if it was a long time ago, with no mention since, and the horse was mentioned at Gencon which was recently, then I agree that this might suggest that the tiger is in the more distant future, and the horse is nearer... |

I believe Ywain is the first moutned Gladiator to be released as a stand alone model separate from the mounted version. I could be wrong, but I believe all the others have been released mounted and unmounted at the same time. Leads me to believe the mount can't be far behind. |

Sooooo, this just appeared on the interwebs...   No idea who found them or where they were first posted, but they exist on the AR wiki for now. Looks suitably badass IMO. |

Well, day one is already here - Dextarius with mounted Ywain now available in the webstore! That was quick. http://arenarex.com/products/destrier Apparently he is only on a 50mm base, so the same as Caho-Ta, not a big Nero-sized base. I think I will give him a pass, to be honest, at least this time around. The model looks great, but I'm not convinced that I really like him as an arena combatant. He looks more like he should be commanding an army on the battlefield. He will probably grow on me though. Now, where is that tiger? |
