Wow! Exciting! Who the hell is Tribune? Tribune looks Greek to me!

And Leika looks more and more like a witch to me. I want a gladiator witch!

Ahaaaa! I think I was actually most curious about what ludus he belongs to. Ludus Magnus, not the Hellenics? Ah well.

So his main trick seems to be Exile, which is like a mega super push that sends people flying away. Since his tree starts with a normal push, he can push his target 4" with just three successes - that seems to be unique so far.

And Sanction then means that he is supposed to gain his Favor by resisting attacks rather than suffering damage. Could be interesting to try. I see him counterattacking a lot.

He could be a lot of fun. I wonder if there is a Leika card somewhere? Or a Tribune model?

Leika is definitely available as she was for sale (sold out super quick).

Tribune mode should be on display tomorrow (I'll get some shots then), but he won't be for sale quite yet

Unfortunately, I also got some bad news on the indefinite delay of Atrox due to design/production issues. He is still coming... just not quite yet.

Wow! Thanks! Snare seems defensively fantastic, especially as a counter to abilities like Momentum. She will be difficult to push around.

Trying to wrap my head around the usefulness of Encircle... seems to me like it will be situational, but can do cool things. If she is pinned in somewhere for whatever reason, she can use it to escape, or she could use it to extend the range of her attack - move her full speed, attack a defender within 1", then jump around on the other side of the defender, and declare a second attack against someone on the other side.

I feel like we are getting so many new special rules with new releases these days. Over the last year, haven't all the abilities on new releases been new and unique? No re-using of staple abilities like Stoic, Disengage, Second Wind, etc... I like it.

Hmm... although I suppose that Snare is pretty easy to get around. You can just not be in base contact with her when you declare the attack. If you place yourself 0,5" away from her when you attack, you can push her and follow up just fine.

Maybe it takes actually trying it out to get a feel for it.

LEIKA!!!! I will definitely buy her as soon as I can.

I can see encircle being useful for getting herself into the fray; displace yourself on the side of an enemy to get closer to someone else, and being a threat for your enemy to work around.

Also, having encircle as a first result is great for ambush, either getting into or out of trouble, depending on what you need.

She has some solid stats all around, and is a great model.

Good call that Encircle could work well with Ambush.

Thank you for the Tribune picture! He looks very small, and has an odd design whereby he doesn't look like a gladiator at all... but I like him. I look forward to reading his background blurb.

It's funny that both of these previewed models have a star ability that starts with an E and a normal ability that starts with an S.

And sad to hear about Atrox delay - but we can wait for him as well as the Hellenics as long as we get some cool new models like Tribune in the meantime.
