Haven't played much, but in between games I'll post a little on what I've seen: This game is a bit boring without hazards, so won't be doing that again. Tactics in general seem extraordinarily underwhelming for the cost. At least in a 3v3 Cohort. Gaius Pallidus' Regrowth ability seems a bit overpowered. It seemed to be the tactic to group up, power attack and Clear Turn as fast as possible. It seems impossible to dislodge them and very difficult to deal enough damage to make the difference. Even if you manage to kill a character, less characters makes this strategy more powerful as they get to a Clear Turn much faster. It just becomes a battle of attrition which the Legio (especially Gaius) will almost always win. Regrowth is better than any Tactic and its free. Let me know if I'm just a bit too new and off-base. |
