Q: Sereqet seems quiet weak in compare to other titans. Does the model has Zharas normal abilities aswell?

Other way it won't have much chances to be picked.

Quote:
Attacks are made by both the rider and the mount when an attack is declared. They
may each choose targets independently, but neither can declare a power attack. The
attacker may choose which order the attacks are resolved in. The defender may
choose which of the attacks they react to, if reacting.

attacks aren't abilities.

 Good point well made, I'd assume that they keep their individual abilities as if unmounted Nero can use RUSH. Makes sense because he's a giant bull.
Then when Zahra is mounted and attacks, why would she not attack with her whip? Meaning she too keeps her abilities.

I'd say yes but I see what your saying, doesn't really make it clear in the rules.

Just had another scan of the rules.... and noticed that technically no model can use any abilities because there are no rules from them :(

Sereqet can move around without being targeted by opportunity attacks, which can be huge! he can fatigue up to gain an additional success on an attack, and has a pretty nice attack track. oh, plus he can be the mount for one of the most powerful models in the game currently, increasing her survivability and giving her more mobility.

FINALLY got to play with titans today: first impressions:

-Although Zahra now effectively has a move of 7, her mount is sort of made of glass. In two games it could barely hold its own against a Mars model. Perhaps some bad rolls too tbf. But even so, I don't want to spend 2 slots for 2 extra movement.

-Nero-OP. He battered EVERYTHING in every game. no one could even make a dent, very not fun because the users cohort is like Nero and supporting cast who don't even need to move.

-Proximo was a nice stand alone kind of model, could dish damage etc but never felt like anything was wrong with him, just felt very right on the sands.

-Windengo, only played for a little bit, but clearly a support kind of character, can see how he might be useful in a bigger cohort.

ATM might be trying to get a late switch from a giant scorpion to a battle giraffe. Unsure if I want to or if its too late anyway mind...

Nero is a beast but his rider is weaker then the other two who help their teams. Literally there is no reason to take Septimus over either Aquila or Urean on foot. Nero is literally all he has. The other two are at least great on foot
