[/color]Just picked up AR with some friends, and we've really enjoyed it so far.

A question came up in our most recent game. Micon's Atlas Throw allows you to place a model within d3 inches. This kicked up a bit of a debate over whether it actually meant within or completely within, as the former seemed a bit much. On the other hand all the game's uses of within seemed to confirm the more permissive interpretation.

In my experience with other games, I've encountered cases of designers forgetting to make this distinction, using the term within loosely, and only clarifying it when it's pointed out by players. I was just hoping for some confirmation here, as our specific situation left my opponent a bit frustrated. Perhaps rightfully so, as despite me only rolling a 1, his Medusa was thrown just over a group of blocking models, but still within 1" of Micon's follow up location, leaving her vulnerable to a subsequent push into a pit/insta kill.

Btw, this forum's registration format is ridiculous. Separate a list of 13 models into two categories (has net/has no net)? Black font on black background? Dual time zone confirmation? Does RRG secretly not want new players joining this community? Was I supposed to take the hint, and just post on their Facebook page instead?

Yeah, the forum is really not easy to work with. Especially since moderators only approve new members very rarely. So you have to wait months to get approved if you are new.

I assume it is just within, not completely. Good question.
