How does Zahra's Lash (may push a model directly towards her) work VS mounted models? If hit by an attack, the target is placed on the other side of the mount. However, does Lash supercede that and you place the target mounted model between the mount and Zahra?

I don't believe that Zarha's Lash actually does anything to a mounted model.

The key part of the Lash rule is "when resolving push effects..."

From page 14 of the rulebook, dealing with mounted models:
"If an attack targeting the rider successfully pushes the rider, the rider is forcibly dismounted. If this happens, place the rider in base contact with the mount, directly opposite the attacker, then resolve the push."

So the dismounted rider is already placed behind the mount before Lash triggers.

I guess it would do one thing - make the push optional.

My impression is that pushes are normally mandatory, not optional. But in this case, you could resolve the push by pulling them towards you, which would immediately stop the push since they would bump into their mount on the way.

Agreed. The push resolves after the rider is dismounted, then is pushed (towards Zahra) but hits a larger base and stops.

My opponent understood lash to supersede the rules, but of course, I didn't want that happen.

Agreed.

I mean, yeah, if we were picturing it cinematically and thematically, of course she should be able to pull the rider off the beast and towards her. It doesn't really make thematic sense that she can't.

But the rules as written seem clear - knocking a rider off a mount is not a push, and hence Lash does not affect it, since Lash only affects pushes.
