Does “turn” effectively mean while activating? Meaning that while defending (or reacting if ready) you can add favor, up to your limit, even if you’d use favor on the previous activation?

Does using favor to activate an ability, like Antaeus Hip Toss, count against the favor cap? I assume yes.

Yes to both of your questions, I would say.

It seems like whenever you have the option of spending Favor to activate an ability, that counts against your limit, as far as I recall. And Otho can stop you from doing it.
