When a model leaves engagement with a model would that model get an opportunity attack as long as it wasn't fatigued?

Opportunity attack is a reaction in Arena Rex. It triggers on declaration of the move action. Wha this means practically is:
  1. Your reacting model must be ready.
  2. Your reacting model gains a fatigue (as well as using your one reaction per turn).
  3. The model you are reacting to must be in your reacting models engagement range when they declare the move action (i.e. before moving).

So by the above rules a model moveing out of engagement with a ready model can declare an opportunity attack.

Well, the moving model can't, but the ready enemy model near the moving model can, yes.

Reactions can only be triggered in an opponent's turn, so an active model can never react.

Hopping on this as it is somewhat related..

Player activates a model and moves into engagement with opponent figure. Opponent declares a Move reaction and moves the figure out of engagement from the active figure. Does the active figure get to make an attack action before the reacting figure leaves engagement?

Definitely not. :)

The active player A can activate his combatant and do a free move action. Then the inactive player B can react to the end of that move with a move reaction, and select model B which model A has moved into contact with. The move reaction is then resolved and model B moves away.

Now player A can choose what to do next - but the move reaction has happened, and player B's combatant is long gone. If he wants to fight, model A has to chase after model B with another move action.
