There is one specific rule we are hoping to get feedback for during this final playtest, Legio's Echelon:
Passive Ability : Echelon - Legio XIII Gladiator models in your cohort may move through other Legio XIII Gladiator models in your cohort, and end their movement actions overlapping the bases of other Legio XIII Gladiator models in your cohort. If a Legio XIII Gladiator in your cohort ends a movement action overlapping the bases of any other Legio XIII gladiator models in your cohort, those models are Displaced
We have been playing this two ways (and can modify the wording to accommodate either). The first interpretation allows Legio models to displace friendly gladiators only after a move action
during their activationThe second allows Legio models to displace friendly gladiators after any move action. This would include move actions during their activation, move reactions, and maneuver tactics. It would NOT included follow up movement or repositions. This makes the ability much more powerful and allows a careful Legio player to get exhausted models out of harms way during their opponent's activation.
Both versions have supporter(s) within our playtest group. Please let us know which you think makes for a more fun game... after a test or two
Thanks,
Nick P
If you are curious about what Displacing is... read our latest playtest docs
There's some very fun additions in them.
